An early appreciation for artistic expression was instilled in me.  My family encouraged my creative endeavors as they exposed me to art experiences among the rolling hills of northeastern Iowa.  From that moment when I discovered that I didn't have to stay within the lines, I have been fascinated by all manner of artistic methods.

Priorities changed and I chose computer science as a vocation for the last 20+ years.  In this time, with the help of my lovely wife Leanne, I managed to create many good works.  Most notable of these are my son Sean and daughter Shelby. 

Through the inner reflection of a newly acquired mid-life crisis, I have again learned to make art a priority.  I recently focused my creative energies on printmaking and welded metal sculpture.

With the support of my family and their sometimes puzzled looks, I continue to develop as an artist exploring new avenues of self-expression and creativity.
